I'm a beginner so guys don't be too harsh my knowledge of linux is very minimal. If I was to wipe a chromebook and install it solely on the chromebook would it run well? I want to spend as little money as possible as I can on a laptop to develop in java and c++. I was thinking of using a linux distribution and I quite like crunchbang so... any recommendations? Should I settle for a chromebook or look for a cheap windows laptop/netbook. Thanks guys in advance.
