Left a terminal open on my desktop whilst doing something else, on return these messages had appeared:
Message from syslogd@crunchbang at Nov 8 16:15:56 ...
kernel:[21693.601943] Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 21 on CPU 2.
Message from syslogd@crunchbang at Nov 8 16:15:56 ...
kernel:[21693.601951] Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled?
Message from syslogd@crunchbang at Nov 8 16:15:56 ...
kernel:[21693.601955] Dazed and confused, but trying to continue
It was hanging so I pressed CTRL+C and got my prompt back.
Anything to worry about?

@Joe90,
Other than receiving "odd terminal messages" and the fact you're possessed, haunted or an interesting combination of both?
No, not a thing. ]:D

In all seriousness, I've had this message before Joe90. Being a little mystified as well at the time, I ignored it to no detrimental effect... That I noticed.

I have not rebooted yet to see if anything else occurs. May be unrelated but I have noticed that hyperlinks to some sites are very slow in resolving? Not changed anything to do with DNS, but has been like this a couple of days.
[EDIT] May have spotted the reason. Turned off sendmail daemon with BUM and cron still trying to use sendmail,then unable to resolve hostname. Have turned sendmail back on now

Don't know about your power supply but if you'd like to benchmark your graphics card... "glmark2"

Thanks TicTac, edited post between yours coming back, think is something I did!
Hmmm - syslog now starting to fill up with errors. Installed sensible-mda to stop some of them, but still not able to resolve own domain name.
