Can anyone point me to a music... Manager/library/organizer program?

Hello,
This is the first of a couple questions about music stuff. I see a lot of posts about music players but I don't find anything about music managers/library/organizers or whatever you want to call them.

The basic:
So as the title says: Can anyone point me to a music... Manager/library/organizer program?

The Advanced question:
Are there any that will watch a "folder" and when fresh music is placed in this "folder" it will take it and move it into the "library" automaticly?

Thanks.

On the lighter side, Audacious and Exaile are nice. Nightingale is probably the best, though. It will scan whatever folder you want it to. And it has some nice feathers (skins).

There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.

Thanks for pointing me to some of these but so far i think uriel1998 hits closest to home.

MPD.... I had a feeling this one would get a mention......Correct me if I am misinformed here.  MPD does not provide a tool to preserve the file structure of the audio tracks.

So MPD is not a music manger.

If you run multaple systems on your network, you may want to check into Subsonic.  I have it running on my server and I can access and play my library from the browser.  It really lacks orgazation so I'm going to try out beets like xero said.

CMUS is a terminal-based music player which allows you to add music based on folders, you can add your entire /music folder simply by typing

:add ~/music

or specific libraries.
Really powerful, yet extremely lightweight. The entire interface is keyboard-controlled and it's one of the nicest music-players I've ever used because it's so deliciously lightweight with little to no unnecessary interface. Also has a tab in which you can browse your entire system for the music you want if you have some random music in your ~/downloads folder for example and you just want to check it out before definitely leaving it in your ~/music folder.
