Re: SPAM alert!

The next run is still in its planning stage. Sector11 is refueling & rearming, & last I heard, Damo ejected somewhere over the South China Sea. For the time being, I'd direct you to an Official #! Emergency Tinfoil Hat Distribution Center. Check your local listings  smile

Also, if you feel up to it, you can reduce strain on the system & make your own. Being that it's a keyboard, rather than your mind being assailed by the SPAM Bots, it doesn't exactly need to be built to Tinfoil Hat Code

Hard to dogfight when you are going so fast it takes the airspace over Montana to turn around  ]:D

There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.

You may mock, but during the peak of the ozone-hole in the late 80's, some of us there made foil face masks because the UV would have flayed the skin off our faces sad

NO HE DIDN'T SAY THAT AND HE'S NOT!
And get that gleam out of your eye!  lol  lol  lol

Oh and just so every one knows, Capt Damo didn't bail out ... I'd never leave him behind.

@ Damo, I hear you about the U.V.I.  - never worried about it until I got here.  Now it's walk in the shade whenever the sun is out and wear a hat.  Summer sun and UV is 11 - Extreme here.  sad

Hm. I set up a phpBB two years ago. The very next morning I had 70+ pages worth of spam threads, all in the same subforum, all by the same user. Found a mind-boggingly simple Turing test script that now is invoked each time header.php is called, but only springs to action if there is a POST action going on (Register, Login, Post, Reply, Edit etc.). Silence ever since.

Might be a bit overkill, but something similar might hinder automated registrations.

Yet the day will come - and it is not far! - when we'll all be having perfectly sensible discussions with a spambot... and never know it.

Re: SPAM alert!

Tin foil Hat

The notion that a tin foil hat can significantly reduce the intensity of incident radio frequency radiation on the wearer's brain has some scientific validity, as the effect of strong radio waves has been documented for quite some time.
