Synaptic does not open anymore

After installing fglrx, Synaptic doesn't work anymore. I even cannot open it. Also updating via terminal doesn't work anymore. After installing fglrx I was advised (by the the system) to do an autoremove, maybe there's the problem ?

Re: Synaptic does not open anymore

Sounds like you may have a broken package.  Try

sudo apt-get install -f

That's a good place to start.

Re: Synaptic does not open anymore

Sorry for the (very) late answer. It worked with what you said Sary. It just opened and worked.

Re: Synaptic does not open anymore

Reinstalled CB and replaced LXDE with XFCE (I know, it's a breach of the first CrunchBang command = Crunchbang is OpenBox) and now everything works perfect. Result = one happy person more on this planet wink
