[Solved] Compiling drivers for non-standard kernel

Hi everyone, I recently compiled the 3.7.4 kernel on my laptop and it works fine, but because my laptop has a newfangled network card whose drivers haven't been officially added to the kernel source yet I have to compile the alx driver module. However, since I didn't get the kernel through the repositories I can't download the headers for it. How do I "make" a headers package for my kernel? Thanks.
