seriously, guys, i'm sick seeing LinuxBBQ screenshots with links in all their postings. sure, i can also lie that maschinenschinken did a great job building those images and bbq "users" trying to source members out of the crunchbang forums to use these builds due to a annoyed ex-crunchbanger. I won't mention any names, but rhowaldt sucks! grow up and out of your diapers.
Apart from that, *.co.cc domains are ignored from google and free-forums are more than akward. I wish you guys no luck.

@dropz, people are free to post screenshots of their chosen distribution, it's not a problem

@Dropz, you'll note that some of the #! forum members trying out BBQ are, in fact, moderators here. To quote swftech, "You gotta love Debian in all its flavors

Another +1... I am impressed with the builds and have been happily testing them.

If you got a problem with me -- why don't you simply say it directly and in clear words? Kann auch gerne in Jiddisch sein. Firstly I do NOT source members -- most people on the internet are clever enough to know how to use more than one forum, anyway. And the people we have on the BBQ are people I know, for many years, personally. Maybe your way of thinking in black and white is the problem. I smell a lot of sadness in your post. It doesn't matter that .co.cc is ignored, and that freefroums are "akward". And it also doesn't matter if you wish my a slow and painful death. Wishing is easy. Creating is hard. Ask those who created something substantial. Or yourself.
Thanks corenominal, pvsage, VastOne, wux for the nice words. My intention (and clear statement) is a peaceful coexistence. Anyway who am I to declare a cyberwar against the big Crunchbang

Still Gnome 3.4 on a sid/wheezy netinstall, with a custom theme and icon set.
Would you mind uploading the theme somewhere? This is the first GTK3 theme I like.

@dropz using #! full-time has never been a requirement to post here in these friendly forums. If you are concerned that #! forums is losing members to other forums, do you really think being an asshole about it will convince them to stay here, huh?

Sure thing, they are based on themes by half-left. The shell, window and matching GTK2 and GTK3 themes, olive selected background color...

The gtk with teal selected background color...
http://www.mediafire.com/file/7fn028ur2 … qua.tar.gz
Matching gnome-colors icon sets for both...
http://www.mediafire.com/file/een97ypnn … sic.tar.gz
http://www.mediafire.com/file/63b9b44f7 … qua.tar.gz
All supposedly included with the next Bauchspeck release.

Fall screenshots for y'all. This, BTW, features a theme I created, based on two existing Shiki-Nouveau-Colors themes, which is the GTK3-compatible successor to Shiki-Colors. Here, I've taken the orange highlight colors from the Shiki-Nouveau-Human theme and replaced the brown highlight color from the Shiki-Nouveau-Dust theme, blending in the orange with the dark browns from the panel and menus and the light tan from the windows. Red and green variations are available too, at http://box-look.org/content/show.php/Sh … 1f4cbfd414. Even though I personally prefer Xfce, I went ahead and did the color editing to create matching Openbox themes for those of you who are Openbox fans.
I like that.
I used to use a modified Shiki/BSM Simple theme on Gnome 2, and I've been wondering whether I could get Crunchbang to look like that. I added my GTK2 theme to your theme and modified the Openbox theme, now all I need to do is to work out how to modify the GTK3 theme.
