Re: Your CrunchBang Linux system

Hi all,

I have used many linux distros and as I see here many of us have recently found #! linux. So far I'm using CrunchBang (8.10.01) from 4 GB DataTraveller USB stick. (hdd installation). I liked to test how it works and have to admit very well! smile

Here is my machine:
Name: HP Pavillion dv6000 (dv6158 eu)
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile TL-52, 800 MHz L2 cache 512 KB
Screen: 15.4” WXGA
RAM: 1,515 MiB DDR2
HDD: TOSHIBA ATA MK1234GS 120 GB
Optical Drive: DVD-RW DL
Graphics: nVidia  GeForce Go 7200 (rev a1), video RAM 256 MB, 100 MHz
Sound:  nVidia MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2)
Network: 10/100/1000 nVidia MCP51 Ethernet Controller (rev a3),  Broadcom BCM4312 802.11a/b/g (rev 01), No Bluetooth
Other: 3 x USB2.0, 1 x FireWire: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C832 IEEE 1394 Controller, Card Reader

B43 fwcutter had to be downloaded (as always) via ethernet but so far that's all. Pretty much everything works.
Thanks. Nice work!

Regards from Finland.
