Although you seem to be loosing some info in the ends of your bottom conky I really like the compactness of it.

@pfh Regarding those ascii characters linked me to. Do you have to set a font on each one for them to work? awesome screenshot.

I hope not. Right now I am using the same font for my terminal and for the conky/dez2/scrot bar. As far as I understand the only requirement is that the font supports UTF8 or ISO10646-1. The font I am using now is -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-12-120-75-75-c-*-iso10646-1

@rstrcogburn Thanks for the comments man. The wallpaper is by tama-neko http://tama-neko.minitokyo.net/gallery?index=1, and the anime series is called Kino no Tabi or Kino's Journey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kino's_Journey)

@crunchworksyeay Thanks for the comments as well. I am not sure but one reason may be that your fonts do not support UTF8 or ISO10646-1. To check what X11 fonts I have that support UTF8 I typically run the following command:
> xlsfonts | grep iso10646-1
The font I am currently using in my conky/dzen2/scrotbar config is -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-12-120-75-75-c-*-iso10646-1

@xe_NULL
The ascii characters in my conky are  ◢ and ◤ put together. I got them from here.
By the way, nice crunchbang logo in your wallpaper. Your work? Good candidate for an ascii colorscheme.

@dlm955 Awesome conky !!!! yikes
