#1 Re: News & Announcements » The end. » 2015-02-08 15:45:25

This is only my second posting, but I wish to thank you. Crunchbang was a wonderful experience and it has changed the way I look at the linux experience. The troubleshooting and highly efficient windows manager made me fall in love. I may try Arch instead of vanilla Deb, just for the challenge. I'm very grateful for such a wonderful distro, and I hope you have a wonderful future.

I totally feel ya Die Hard, I was underwhelmed by Mint as well. I'm going to upgrade my hardware in the next few months. I just need to find out if the hardware I desire is supported.

Hey fellow #!ers,

I was a casual Linux day-to-day desktop user, but I've recently become more interested in comp-sci. I used Ubuntu by default for a couple years, but I moved to Mint and disliked it. I tried a few live versions of distros and I fell for #!. I'm looking forward to seeing you on the forum & IRC.

I'm already impressed by the difference in speed/energy conservation between this and Mint.
