^ TL;DR you got butthurt by (whatever core did or did not say to you), and use that as an excuse to troll the forums.

Sure, I meant @Rocky (sometimes I think the " ^ ", " ^^ " etc. convention to save quote tags is confusing hmm)

Looks like you don't have GPU acceleration enabled. What's your GPU?

lspci -v | grep VGA

Not talking on games here, but general desktop stuff. And that includes documents/websites being unreadable/faded out. At least disabling that horrible UXA helps in some cases (and if you're lucky, Wheezy is too old to have it by default wink )

^ Next time the GNOME guy asks, "who's XFCE", you can tell him: "I'm sure you'll like him, he likes to remove stuff"  devil

^^  lol  I do have a knack for breaking things. I remember at college when I used the Ubuntu PCs - first they had to delete my user account (it got corrupted - even before using it  monkey ), and 20 minutes later I got a kernel panic. 5 minutes after reboot I got another one - the admin said he'd never seen something like that before.  lol

#22 Re: Feedback & Suggestions » Great lightweight full featured web browser nice for netbooks! » 2015-01-03 18:37:24

Was playing with browsers again after realizing Seamonkey crashing is highly annoying (one crash kills your web, email, and IRC...).

Midori and Qupzilla are broken as ever, Chromium & Opera Neo probably too (didn't want to risk, TBH). Since I have the kdelibs anyway, I've also tried Konqueror and Rekonq. Former is "venerable" ... as in straight from 1999. Latter is pretty good, but can't say performance is better (RAM use not really). Opera 12.16 is still my favourite by a long shot, but it falls to pieces in the modern web.

edit: This may be slightly offtopic but I didn't feel like necrobumping other browser threads.

edit2; xombrero uses gtk3 ...  hmm

^ Considering how often you repeat that stuff, maybe put it in your signature.  roll
