Stupid question but... Assuming an early-2011 release, will the name change to "CrunchBang 11"? As in "My #! goes to 11!"

No, #!Crunchbang 11 . . . I believe that corenominal said in his blog, that he was gonna start using the release date.

So, the next version of Crunchbang could be something like  >  Crunchbang Statler 2011.02 (for Feb of 2011)

And no more Alpha's or Beta's either.

Sorry for the confusion about the release dates, I probably did not make it clear on my blog. Anyhow, Statler will remain as CrunchBang 10. The next release will have the file name of:

crunchbang-10-<%Y%m%d>-<WM>-<ARCH>.iso

If/when a Wheezy based release becomes available, it will be numbered 11. No code name yet, but I think there is an obvious choice. Squeeze==Statler, Wheezy==W******
