Just caught the write up on Distrowatch so thought it was time I tried something new (I'm a 4 year PCLinuxOSer). So far I'm way impressed (I have a couple of aged (8 year old) Thinkpads and the speed is excellent, I could never run Ubuntu previously. Have tried many distros over the years but nothing else has stuck.
The whole thing was configured, inc. wireless on PCMCIA inside 45 minutes so I'm well pleased. Think I may well be making the leap. Config seems to be perfect as far as I can see.
Top work, thanks from me. Looks like you may be stuck with me.

Welcome to the forums of CB, saturn9!
By the way - I've forgot to mention, but two months ago I rescued a 10 years old Toshiba notebook with 128 MB RAM, partially working CD drive, and ethernet through adapter. Even Xubuntu was too heavy for it, but thanks to CrunchBang it's now usable - and the owner couldn't believe how fast it's working!

One of my Thinkpads runs as a Squeezecenter server on TinyMe.
I'm tempted to see how #! will handle it. Any experiances out there?
