[Solved] Changing 24 hour clock to 12 hour clock

How do I change the default 24 hour clock setting to 12 hours? I've searched but couldn't find a definitive answer. I am unable to right click on the clock without bringing up the calendar. There are no setting to change the clock from the calendar program. I feel like I should know how to do this. I feel like such a noob. sad

Re: [Solved] Changing 24 hour clock to 12 hour clock

You have to edit the tint2 config file:

gedit ~/.config/tint2/tint2rc

Then look for "time1_format = %H:%M" and change it to "time1_format = %I:%M".

If you want to include am/pm, you could try: "%I:%M %P"

Kb: drivemaker's kilobyte, currently 908 bytes (shrinks by 4 bytes each year for marketing reasons)
