Looks good tawan...I've always liked the paneled backgrounds
I say never be complete, I say stop being perfect, I say lets evolve, let the chips fall where they may.

Hi tawan,
Really nice , good work !
Ah, I have been promoting your MadBox to people I meet. Also in the process of encouraging my wife away from Linux Mint and onto MadBox, I think it will suit her little netbook nicely.

Ah, cool... been a while since I've used these types.....Nice job, tawan
I prefer the nature-based ones (those are the types that generally go well with this style, as well as angular flat design based stuff)
Gonna grab a couple if you don't mind.
Edit:
Just an opinion (I'm not criticizing, so don't take it the wrong way, mate),
Since your backdrop is a fabric-esque textured material, it would be better if you embossed into the background, rather than making it sit on top, which would work better if the backdrop was "harder" like wood or concrete.

Thanks for your beautiful job. I found specially useful the template, been playing with it in gimp for a while but can't figure out out how to change the background to transparent.

copy the image you want into the middle layer, drag the layer with the holes in it to the top so your image shows through the holes
(if that makes sense.?)

Good idea. Like I said, I stole the background and idea so simply copied what the artist had done but added more options.
I'll try what you said too
