i'm wondering since months now if the developing of my favourite wm has dropped because of the lack of updates from too much time and the lack of news in the official website too..
has anyone any info about it?!?
i've thinked also that the answer could be that ob is already perfect..
but.. but.. it has some little fixes to manage...
bye

Humm -
It doesn't look like Openbox is what one would call a 'vibrant' project, but it also looks far from dead.
Bugs are being opened and closed with some regularity.
The mailing list had 84 messages in March and has had 19 in April.
The irc channel is totally empty right now.

There is development going on with openbox, I believe there is a new release around the corner
the latest rc is here:
http://icculus.org/openbox/releases/ope … rc1.tar.gz
If you have any patches or bugs , y'know feel free to add them to bugzilla
Also the irc channel is on irc.oftc.net and it generally pretty full...

dropped ? -I hope not, its not bloated eye-candy but neither is CrunchBang!!!
-ya every time I see that Fedex commercial where the old boss finally agree's and says "...yup, keep it lean, and mean,..."
( I forget the rest) , but I think of crunchy.

For me, if it ain't broke don't fix it!
It does everything I need and I don't have serious bugs to fix.
No, No gripes about no active development or such like
I guess I'm a happy camper:D
