I never owned a laptop, bought a second-hand one for my grandchildren, tried to set up the wifi on Debian Wheezy but i guess i'm a little dense. CB solved my problem with wifi, everybody is happy.

Above. Nothing worse than Broadcom drivers not being included. Also I wanted to return to my Linux roots of Debian after using Fedora and Gentoo . Minimal install, with the best config of Openbox and tint2. Fourteen years ago I used too build my Debian desktops with almost the same exact package list as #!. Bloody cool. Also #! includes the gcc tool chain while being minimal. How rare is that?
To be quite honest: I started using #! because of its simple style, name and logo It just caught my attention when I was trying to find something closer to my taste. That it was based on debian just made my migration easier. I used debian before #!. And before that I used ubuntu.
#! suits all my computing needs. I am very thankful to the person that made it all possible, and to every helpful soul in this forum. Thank you guys

Because it is lightweight Distro and no Buntu based which i don't like after tried / used for 2 years.
Because i can stay safely online for almost a month never stuck, stall or crash like any other Buntu based. 12d-6h i am online so far. i have stayed up to a month. Awesome just like a server.
Because RAM always stay under 500MB, boot is fast. Startup 75MB, deb sources are reliable and not joke.
Because it use tint2 fast panel and openbox my fav.
Because have clean desktop with zero icons.
Because it have a classic menu completely different from other distro that make Windows copies.
Because gave me idea to make a simple conky like a panel alla i3bar. Yes i learned here on #! forum
Because use Iceweasel that is better than Firefox.
Because always gives me latest software.
Because it's simple
I will never change #! well never say naver, but ofcourse i'll try other distro... crunchbang will remain the main always.
#! @debian gnu/linux testing (jessie)
//I dunno if I had posted here and to lazy to check
I use #! because it just works. Began installing it on my wifes laptop and then it „just” migrated on mine. It suits all our needs and after 2 years now it never brokedown. (still use windows for seldom gaming needs though). And my wife is 0 when it comes to computers and OSs so that tells a lot about #!
