Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

@ TicTac

haha_sm.png and I do mean haha_sm.png

The Edit would have worked, I got no "I love you too" ... but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

TicTac, in all his guts and glory, had to say:
So, if none of you actually caught that little ditty...

and then explain, in detail I might add, his "OOPS!"
Scheech! How am I ever going to live this one down.

Hey, Mrs. TicTac here, this is for you;

Mr. TicTac said to Mrs. TicTac
I red_heart_sm.png you, too!

... that should do it!

EDIT:  Actually it's nice to know TicTac is human and not just another Tic_Tac.jpg someplace.

Hehehehe...

She walked in last night and I gave her a "baby, you'll never guess what just happened too me" and in return I got the obligatory "that's nice dear" response . It took about 10 minutes before I heard hysterical laughter coming from the kitchen and she was still laughing leaving for work this morning. tongue

Showed her your post this morning, she loved it and added... "Oh yes, he's human". Needless to say, I'll spend the remainder of the day pondering, just exactly what she meant by THATlol

So, I've come to the conclusion multitasking probably isn't my thing. It did have the effect of turning my frown upside down and that's a good thing cuz, if we can't laugh @ ourselves... Where's the fun laughing at everyone else? smile

Everybody has their own tone and at times (considering we're all over the world) I'm surprised we communicate as well as we do. What I've done before is just hang out in Off-Topic for a while.

Come to think of it as a general thing, it's been a while since we've had a game thread or something like that if one or more people want to get something going.

It truly is amazing how well we all DO communicate... The love for our shared hobby in general and for this distribution in particular, I should think.

Thank you, chillicampari.  smile

Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

@ TicTac

I base my days like this ...

  1. if I have a good laugh - it's a Good day

  2. if I can make my wife laugh - it's a Very Good day

  3. if we both laugh - it's a GREAT day

  4. if I can make my mother-in-law laugh - is a Good day, and

  5. if I can make them both laugh - it's a GREAT day

You achieved level 3 with your posts.

And with that:

Mrs. TicTac mumbled on the way out:
Oh yes, he's human

... I'd probably be wondering what she meant by that as well. lol

Lua is just great, what's your issue? It's a very consistent software system. C & Lua = Profit. So much better than JS.

Well then, you definitely don't want to get lost in the nested parentheses in Scheme(Lisp)! One of the most unreadable systems I've come across sad

Or should that be "the nethted parenthetheth of Thcheme(Lithp)"?   ops

Can't stop yelling big_smile Chainloading configurations in YAWS 1.7 is working, now it's time for fun. Expect a couple of screenshots in the appropriate topics within an hour smile
First things first: completing my clocks with relevant weather forecasts, as I was planning when I created them about half a year ago.

Edit: or here (first chainloading test; 1 template, 2 config files)

For some reason, this reminded me of an old Twilight Zone episode. Five Characters in Search of an Exit. One of my favorites. Ever seen it? Not sure how scripting would have helped in their situation either, though.

I haven't seen it, no but it sounds interesting.

How do you plan to escape from the cylinder?

Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

Well Crunch Gamer finally arrived... Wow it's awesome, but I think I'll need to reinstall #! because I have a GTX 760 on the way and the current #! install has FGLRX drivers.  roll

Also... my older sister hit a deer, luckily we and the car are fine but... yeah... it was a little shocking.

Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

^ I installed a GTX 760 for a friend about a month ago. Not saying it's something I meant to do. Just sort of happened before I could do anything about it. He loves it, though. Plays a lot of FF.
