Good grief... No. I've literally been called into my bank because my signature on my checks hasn't matched on consecutive days and I couldn't even draw a halfway recognizable circle if you payed me... No, I "borrowed" it from the link you so kindly provided.   tongue

Some of the artwork there is amazing.

OH MY!   yikes   You should go to the bank, sign the card add a couple of dots {here} & {here}, tell em, if the dots are there, it my signature.

of course with my forgetter I'd then forget to use the dots!  devil

After that I found this site: http://1lineart.kulaone.com/  pretty neat as well.

HA! tongue  Yeah, now there's an idea!

Thank you Sector11, I'll check that one out too!  smile

Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

I'm not sure if I posted this beauty already, but it functions as a (small) tablet, runs Debian (well, Raspbian, but hey, that's Debian) and I control which hardware is attached. I do not have to root it to gain proper access to it's system and it's battery lasts for over 8 hours. Total price: approximately €109,- ; this includes Raspberry Pi model B 512 MB RAM edition, touchscreen, battery pack, wifi adapter (not in the picture) and keyboard/touchpad. It's case (again, not in the picture) is made from LEGO bricks smile

^^ Cool device. Might I ask where you got that keyboard, & do you (or anyone else) know of a place that sells just the Tux keys? I really like my current keyboard, but I'm just tired of looking at that damn Windows logo all the time.  roll

Also, @pvsage, looks like we'll have to organize a dance party sometime soon lol

People just need face reality. For modern pc's windows 8 is great.

Blasphemy. Windows 8/8.1 is great for tablets, if that even. roll

Apparently some people consider tablets "modern PCs".  To me, if it doesn't have some kind of mechanical (rubber dome, Cherry MX, buckling spring, whatevs) interface, it's just a toy.  A fondleslab is a slab you fondle.  YMMV, void where prohibited by ToS or EULA.

Amen to that.

Actually as my father calls them, Content Consumption devices.

It's the computers w/ a keyboard and mouse that are the content creation machines.

Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

^ You could create your own "Blair Witch Project" or "Seymour PonyButts" on your smartphone or tablet right now with the camera app. That's "content creation" right there.

Also, why is content consumption a bad thing? Some construction worker earning meager wages away from home somewhere in the developing world doesn't care about "content creation". All he wants to do is see his kid's face 3000 miles away via skype and maybe browse some porn when he's missing his wife. That budget smartphone or tablet he's got is the only computer he's ever known. It gets the job done for him, and that's all that matters, right? That's what personal computers are supposed to do - empower people.

True, but I don't see how a smartphone/tablet can be used for real work, unless it's a surface but... those are mess anyways lol.

^ Depends on what you consider "real work" I suppose.  I bet Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez, and Neal Fredericks would consider making a docudrama about film students lost in the woods "serious business", and probably could care less about coding.
