Very jolly! Did you place the cubes or use a particle system?

Re: February 2014 Screenshot Thread

I always come and browse the screenshot threads here, figured I'd post my own.

Nothing special and still needs some personal touches (if I can be bothered).

@colorpixel

How do you like the EVO?  I'm running the Pro.  From what I've read there's no real difference.  I've been thinking about doing some TRIM with a cron job but I've also read that the built in garbage collection is good enough.  Any thoughts?

Re: February 2014 Screenshot Thread

Snap, they are bronto-blender-learner-type of candy I guess, here is a similar scene using cycles engine (about 1 hour render time with 1000 samples)
http://shrani.si/f/1i/z7/29hmPPb/kockec … ma8bit.png < They look more like lil unnamed-material kinda boxes now.
(post done with blender as well, added some false color and some fog-glow nodes, DOF is pre-rendered in this case (yes, cycles can)).

p.s. I doubt this exr's are 64 bit thought, they don't post that well.

I'm Blender noob. Just made some things following howtos in YouTube channels. Not my territory (I'm a sound engineer), but I love it.

That bottom panel is one of Dobbie's conky's. Have a look at his devianArt page here. If you ask nicely he may put up the code wink
