Re: [solved]debirf's equivalent for Arch Linux

I'll simply quote the definition written on Debian Admin's website

debirf (DEBian on Initial Ram Filesystem) is a set of tools designed to create and prepare a kernel and initial ram filesystem that can run a full-blown Debian environment entirely from RAM.

Is this what you want? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/US … a_from_RAM

Not sure how up-to-date it is, but it could get you started.

EDIT: Whoops, those instructions are for Windows  devil
EDIT2: Check this out instead: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ramdisk

Thanks Unia  smile
The food is not as chewed as in Debian but this is great and I'll get a better understanding of what's going on
