iPad wont mount after installing systemd.

does anyone else having the same problem? i re-run the steps here, https://wiki.debian.org/iPhone , just to be sure and it says the device is mounted but i cant access in thunar and it gives me, Couldn't write SysInfoExtended error.

Are you sure the proper daemon is running? In the past, most of my mounting failures were because the required daemon or process either crashed, became unresponsive, or otherwise crapped out on me. Try rebooting & first thing after you log in, see if you can get the iPad to mount.  smile

yes i did reboot and still it gives me the same error. all services are loaded and running. are you running systemd too?

I have the same problem. For months my iPod has failed to mount, although it used to. I never connected it to the fact that I had installed systemd, although that may well be the problem. Here is the error I get:
