Wheezy getting officially released...what happens now?

So, I've installed Waldorf on a few machines (including a eeePC 701, where it works like a charm!).  I see that wheezy will be officially released during the first week in May.

Will I have to do anything with my installed systems?  Just a regular apt-get update/upgrade, or will I have to reinstall or something?

Regular upgrade and you're good to go.

Janice, I hope.  She's hilarious.

Anyway, thanks, el_koraco!

I hate to say it, but this place is getting to me. I think I'm getting the fear.

^ Huh-wha? hmm

@th3pun15h3r:  I think I suggested Animal for a community-maintained Sid-based CrunchBang a while back, maybe about the time Philip put up the first Waldorf images.

Certainly +1 for Gonzo.

Now that you mention it, I believe it was posted some time ago that #! would use Janice for Debian's Jessie.

Re: Wheezy getting officially released...what happens now?

douglas, I believe you are correct, I remember reading that as well.

Debian & Crunchbang
Squeeze = Statler
Wheezy = Waldorf
Jessie = Janice

Crunchbang should drop Jessie and go for Sid.

While that's interesting, the real cause for excitement will of course be Jessie.

For those following testing instead of wheezy in their /etc/apt/sources.list, now might be a good time to replace all instances of testing with wheezy. Jessie might be a bit wobbly in the beginning...
