What other notification daemons do you have in your autostart? Do you use Xfce? If yes, look in Xfce Settings Manager -> Sessions.

Thanks Ivan. I'm using Openbox.

Then you should look in your autostart, it should be in ~/.config/autostart. But I am not an Openbox user.

Googled a bit, you are not the only one reporting this. But I have no idea what is xndaemon and if you should try to stop this one, for what it is needed?

sudo /etc/init.d/xn-daemon stop
# or
sudo service xn-daemon stopthen log out from Openbox and back again. Does this work?

I don't know this xndaemon either. I used the image released in September to install this #!
sudo /etc/init.d/xn-daemon stop # or sudo service xn-daemon stopthen log out from Openbox and back again. Does this work?
The problem occurs occasionally only. I also has another intermittent problem with audio. I will open another post for this.
