Love the distro!
I got a computer setup as a minecraft server and would like to get the networking and vnc service starting on boot so that I can remote in. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing this?

Hi and welcome to the site!
Providing the computer is automatically logging into the desktop, you can edit ~/.config/openbox/autostart and add the commands to get your stuff running asap

You mind sharing what commands to use I'm a total 'noob' when it comes to linux.

To make "vino" the VNC server to start on startup, just add:
##vnc
/usr/lib/vino/vino-serverTo the bottom of your autostart file. (you can edit it by going to your right click Menu>Settings>Openbox>Edit autostart)
Edit: You may want to set the VNC server settings to:
not require you to confirm each connection
not require a VNC password as this requires the Default keyring to be unlocked on the computer, rendering the headless server pointless, as you would need to type in a password on the computer before you can login via. VNC. Obviously only remove the VNC password if your network is secure.

You can also make CrunchBang auto-login by going to "Menu>System>User Login Settings" then to the Security tab and change the settings as you wish!
