First of all hello everyone !
I'm new to crunchbang and linux as a whole, I thought I might just dive into what appears to be the deep end from my perspective.
So, a few things I would like to try and do and need help setting up:-
-Set up CodeBlocks IDE
-Dropbox ?
I wouldnt mind some general hints and tips too.
Thanks again !

Installation of Dropbox is described in Dropbox web site: https://www.dropbox.com/install?os=lnx
I couldn't see any packages for the Code::Blocks IDE, but perhaps you may want to look for alternatives (like Eclipse?) in the Debian world? Or is that not an option?
Edit: It's possible to install Code::Blocks from source (see http://www.codeblocks.org/downloads) but I guess you have already seen it and are looking for a ready-made package?
Edit2: Here are the packages for Code:Blocks: http://www.codeblocks.org/downloads/binaries

If you open Synaptic and type "eclipse" in the quick search field, you'll see that the Debian repos currently have Eclipse version 3.5.2-6.
