Okay, I feel kinda silly with this one. I did as shown here:

to switch to using the battery notification from within tint2. I wanted to switch back to showing the xfce4-power-manager icon in the systray, but since it's gone now, I don't know how to get back to xfce4-power-manager preferences so that it'll show. Previously, I right-clicked on the icon and went to preferences, but there's no icon now. I have tried xfce4-power-manager.xml and changing the value on "show-tray-icon" to "1" instead of "3", but no dice. Help?

Openbox right-click menu: Settings >> Power Management
or
alt-F3: xfce4-power-manager
EDIT: (Change "Show tray icon:" to "Always show icon".)
