This is my first real experience at using a 64 bit OS. I just put the 64 bit version of Waldorf on my netbook a couple of days ago. I have an Acer AOD 257 with an atom n570 processor. So far I've had no issues and my netbook and it seems to be running better than the 32 bit version. Everything worked out of the box with the exception of having to install some wimax drivers.

Hey! Good luck with that and please keep us informed about any issues you have with it. I got Waldrof 32 bit on my Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 and seems to be working fine! I was thinking about getting the 64 bit OS instead but as this is my first approach to Crunchbang I was thinking about trying the 32 bit version as it's normally easier to handle.

make sure your cpu can handle 64 bit processing first. So far its running pretty good. Uses a bit more ram than the 32bit but I have plenty to spare for what I do.

I'm going to be switching back to 32 bit waldorf. The 64 bit waldorf weighs a bit to heavily on my processor.
