^ Yup - it's a three-volume Elseworlds mini-serial about how things might have gone had Kal-El reached Earth a few hours earlier or later and landed in a farm in Soviet Russia. Very interesting read.

There is actually a lot of fan art for this; the image I had in mind has a deep wine-colored background:

(EDIT: Yes, I know there's quite a bit of noise in the background; it kinda blurs out when the images is scaled to fill my desktop. wink )

actually, this is my first post, but I have been lurking in the forums for quite some time, educating and getting inspiration.

This is my current desktop setup. It's i3 with solarized colors.

I've first tried out i3 just a week ago, nevertheless I've grown pretty used to it. It's my first tiling WM experience and I love it so far. So minimal. So beautiful. So fast.

Welcome to the forums! Great debut, nice to see another tiling wm convert. You might want to look into the urxvt tabbedex extension, to get rid of the NEW button, it has some other gimmicks too iirc.

hope you like i3. after all the wm's i tried, it's the one i stuck with.

I got bored very quickly of the solarized colorscheme! tongue

@ivo: many thanks! Yours is cool as well (I never got the inspiration to actually read the `man 1 ratpoison`. But I will some day [scrotwm is just too easy to use tongue ])

For the curious, I'm using OpenBSD (I'm using a recent snapshot, that's why at the `uname -a` it tells that I'm using 5.2.
