I just installed the latest Waldorf on my Acer Aspire One 725. Things seem to be working normally so far, but the wireless and Bluetooth are AWOL.. Here is the info I have found so far:
$ lspci -knn
02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43228 802.11a/b/g/n [14e4:4359]
Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc. Device [105b:e04b]As I understand it, Bluetooth is the listed Foxconn subsystem. To be fair, I have tried a number of other distros including Mageia and Ubuntu, without a positive result. The wireless normally works though. Here is some info about my laptop:
Acer Aspire One 725 Series
Model No. ZHG
RO:EMA
MFG Date 06/11/12
Elantech Multi-gestus touch pad
Wireless: Broadcom BCM43228 [14e4:4359]
Bluetooth 4.0

^ I don't think "the easy way" will work with that particular Broadcom card, unless it uses the lpphy driver.

Thank you for both of your replies. I used the Debian Wiki version to get things going. No worries there. Any ideas about the Bluetooth 4.0 card?
Edit:
I should by the way add that following the Debian Wiki instructions forced the uninstall of xulrunner. Will that cause any problems?
