Hello,
I am writing to you from my VM of CrunchBang, where I plan to see just what damage I can do. I've been using Ubuntu since 11.04 and I'm a bit tired of the constant battle between functionality and bloat. I have played with VMs of CrunchBang in the past, but have never been satisfied with my abilities to be able to stray away from Ubuntu.
If I'm happy with my VM setup, I'll switch to using CrunchBang as my daily OS. I look forward to hearing from you all! I'm off to peruse the forums!

For the real damage making, you have to install it for real.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's official! I now have CrunchBang (64-bit Waldorf) as my daily OS. I look forward to digging my heels in and learning as much as I can. I'll attempt to make it my very own and will post some screenshot in the Artwork & Screenshots section when I feel it's worthy.
It feels good to know that I'm in a very welcoming and super-friendly community, thank you all!
