Add this to your ~/.config/openbox:

xset b off

while ( ! ( succeed = try() ) );

Sorry, but do I add that to an existing file in ~/.config/openbox, or do I make a new file with that line? My openbox directory has three files there:
autostart
menu.xml
rc.xml

Sorry, that goes in ~/.config/openbox/autostart.
