Hello everyone
Real name is Nick, the forum name, well thats from star trek
Im a bit of a distro-hopper and test things in virtualbox, while properly installing a single distro on my machines.
Recently i thought xubuntu was getting fat and bloated, so i decided to look for something lighter, i remembered crunchbang from when a friend showed me a version of it working on his laptop and it was very fast.
I borrowed a cd from him a few days ago and now my desktop pc is running statler.
Have to say ive been searching the forums here, and you seem like a nice bunch, and so far there are no issues with crunchbang.
This is easily the fastest, most stable distro ive used, and its no more complicated to setup than any of the buntu's

People make "assimilation" out to be such a bad thing, as if an individual necessarily loses his uniqueness in the assimilation. Never gonna happen - just look at the big "melting pot" of New York! And in the Enterprise's first encounter with the Borg, they even explicitly state "your uniqueness will be added to our own" or something to that effect...basically that the individuals' uniqueness strengthens the collective. Anyway, that's how I see the #!Collective - a big beautiful mess of unique individuals.

As to Star Trek, I think there are a few of us here that have seen this show.
