I must tell you that I am impressed with Crunchbang. I downloaded the image, burned it and then ran it as a Live-Cd. Even from a Live-cd it worked incredibly fast. 
I am an Ubuntu-user. That is, I worked with Ubuntu first. When they introduced Unity, I switched to Xubuntu. Not perfect but it works well on my computer.
I am going to switch to Crunchbang. It is amazing. Just wanted to share this with you.

I had the same experience! Except that I stayed with 10.10 for some time.
Gnome went totally the other way around for me... 
But now VERY happy with #!
I'm even considering try to convince my non-geek girlfriend to use it! lol

I have had to install a couple of other distros on my google chromebook as I have neither the skill or the time to make an #!arm machine and other distros are much less satisfying to use. Well done #! for being awesome.
