Wow! That works fast!

I must tell you that I am impressed with Crunchbang. I downloaded the image, burned it and then ran it as a Live-Cd. Even from a Live-cd it worked incredibly fast. yikes

I am an Ubuntu-user. That is, I worked with Ubuntu first. When they introduced Unity,  I switched to Xubuntu. Not perfect but it works well on my computer.

I am going to switch to Crunchbang. It is amazing. Just wanted to share this with you.

@probe34: I couldn't agree with your summary more. That is exactly my user experience. I switched just this week and I haven't looked back.

I feel this affinity also. I always forget I'm using a computer, until I use another distro...

Welcome to #! smile

This is going to be fun!

1. Back-up data to external hard--drive.
2. Burn DVD and install...
3. Copy data back onto hard-drive.
4. Sorted!

Re: Wow! That works fast!

I have had to install a couple of other distros on my google chromebook as I have neither the skill or the time to make an #!arm machine and other distros are much less satisfying to use. Well done #! for being awesome.
