hello i have got a HTC conky script running and i am trying to move it to the right hand side of the screen,i got the script from some one on the Peppermint forum when i was using that O/S,the command he used to edit was gedit ~/.conkyrc
but i have tried that on crunchbang and it does not work,i even put sudo in front of the command but it still does not work, does any one know what the command is to edit the conky script please ?

By default, #! ships with geany, not gedit, so:
gedit ~/.conkyrcbecomes:
geany ~/.conkyrcOffline
thank you very much.

No problem. For future reference, in this instance, the sudo command is generally only required when you are attempting to edit files which you do not have permission to write to. Normally, any files in your home directory are owned by you, so it is not required.
