It worked ugh - but taking me a lot longer then 5 minutes
*But I am still a newbie so*
But I have an issue with my one of two laptops.
No-thing2=old laptop & No-Thing3=New laptop
I have tried this guide yesterday: http://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19276
I used the crunchbang-10-20120207-i386 file for making this.
i tried making the usb on both laptops - and both copies booting the crunchbang USB up worked on No-Thing2 but not No-Thing3
No-Thing3 only came to a line: Welcome to Grub and nothing happened thereafter.
No-Thing2 booted up in the Grub menu and loaded CB perfektly.
Now this time I tried your version - I have a little of the same problem
It works perfectly on laptop No-Thing2 again - but No-thing3 is well, now finally entering the menu of Grub *Perfect*, but when pushing to get into CrunchBang the screen goes blank and nothing happens... And the diode on the USB does nothing!
Any ideas for a solution or knowing what is going on?
I could try to install other versions of CrunchBang using your method - but I know the version I have used works for both laptops.
Help needed

Tried to install crunchbang-10-20120207-amd64.bpo on the usb... *So now have 2 operating systems on the usbkey*
Well, still it hangs after pushing the 64 bit CB version in Grub on No-Thing3!
No-Thing2 that is really only a 32bit loads CrunchBang 64bit up - it stalls when loaded, but it shows that I did it right!
It looks like its something with Grub and my hardware or something... There must be a way around this!
