Howdy

Hello all. I am new to the crunchbang world. I have been using Linux Mint for sometime on my desktop, but I have had trouble finding a good distro for my somewhat archaic laptop. It is an old box, but has updated RAM and an SSD. But anyways I tried a lot and of the few that worked crunchbang was my favorite. And it is growing on me more and more. Linux Mint will always hold a special place in heart as my first real Linux experience, but the minimalist and lightweight approach from crunchbang is a sleek distro that I feel has made me a much better user. Well anyways that is a little about me. I will see you all on the forum floors.

Welcome to #! smile
I still run Mint LMDE on another machine due to hardware issues, usually whatever you learn on the command line works lots of different places in the Linux-verse...
