(SOLVED) Locking laptop

Hi to all. I few days ago i install CrunchBang 11 "Waldorf" on my sisters almost 7 years Acer Aspire 3023. This laptop has AMD Sempron 3000+ processor, ATI mobility radeon X700 graphic card, 512 RAM and broadcom WIFI. Everything works from the start, and the WIFI after some restarts started to work fine. My problem is that some time the desktop locks. No mouse pointer , nothing i can do and the WIFI light stays on. Can anyone help me? I am not an experiended user. I used to use Kubuntu on my desktop but this laptop can only be usable with very light distros. I have to note that this laptop gets very hot some times but with the Windows XP installed didn't freese like this. Thanks for any help.

Re: (SOLVED) Locking laptop

I think that is the problem. Most of the time the laptop locks when is inactive. The problem is no more after some updates.
