Hey there!
My name is Alain and I am a Spaniard living in Orlando. I haven't been using linux all that long and I have hopped through several distros during the past year. Crunchbang is the best distro I have seen because after been a Mac user for a long time, I am tired of all the eyecandy.
I have played around with my Crunchbang, and I peeked this forum very often. I am very surprised with how respectful everybody seems to be around here, it is a very inviting community.
I am happy that I stumbled upon #!

Welcome to #!
If you learned any of the UNIX terminal command while using the Mac, they work here as well.
I know because I occasionally freak out the guys at Best Buy by playing on the Apple display units.

cJones, even though I definitely prefer Mac than Windows, after seeing #!, none of them can really compete. I am still learning, but I love that Linux is really what you make it, not what you are forced to use. Very liberating.
Welcome to #!

I haven't used the terminal in Mac as much. It's so hidden, I had to install Ubuntu to start playing around with it. Hopefully I get to the point where I drive Best Buy crazy too
