^ bought the mug, and still using it. They seem to be a Print On Demand shop where you get logo X plastered onto whagever tee-shirt, hoodie, or mug you like. I'd be amazed if the couldn't whip something up...

I was just wondering . . . . rofranco brought up the CafePress site that is linked at the top of the forum -- SHOP in the top line -- and with all the traffic on the topic of shirts, I was wondering if it is still operating. Is it?
Yes

^Would be awesome! Just imagine, black, with a white #! logo on them! Fantastic idea pvsage, you are a true genius!

...but over the crotch or butt?
Only reason I got the idea is because someone at Cafe Press - presumably with Megan's approval - is selling cartoony "Hey yous!" girl-and-guitar tees, henleys, hoodies...thongs
...
How about (and this is probably something Cafe Press wouldn't be able to do) boxers in a B/W #! tartan? (Yeah, I know - Philip ain't no Scot, but tartans and plaids are common in boxers.)
Crunchkilt??

, well personally I am not that progressive. But to each his or hers dentifrice. The #! logo on the side of the boxers would look cool,
but rather pointless since I am not walking around flashing my boxers, as I said, "I am not that progressive". Sorry for going off topic.

Realized it's been a while since the last donation, so I gave a bit this morning. Have to find a better method of reminding myself when I should do so again...

^ *sigh* the last few months at work have been way more taxing than they should have been, and I had to learn the joys of Windows 8.
I decided to suffer in silence rather than share my new and extensive assortment of swear-words with you-all.
Downloaded the lastest ISO of Waldorf last last night, installed it very early in the morning, and I can't tell you how good it felt to see a #! logo, rather than the Microsoft carp that I've come to refer to as "the Ocho." It's really good to be back home...

Just curious; how do you make a decision on how to donate to a project, distro, or organization?
As an example; gedit - the text editor. I love it, and always install it. But as the name implies, it's a GNOME thing. If I give them some money, am I also supporting Gnome on the side? It's a bit confusing...

Just donated for the first time. I wish these could be made recurring, I would gladly give a little something every month, or even bi-weekly.
In any case, thank you for making the distro I've been looking for since 1998.
I've now got it installed on 4 machines, and even crunchified (or tried to) a debian for my G4 iMac.

Thanks for supporting #!
I know that sounds trite, but when you hear some of the drek Ubuntu or Mint does to attract funding, it makes me appreciate our people more.

The members of this forum seems to be much more laid-back than almost any other community which I have come across thus far.
I love you guys. /hugs

I don't know about the specifics of gedit/Gnome funding, but my advice would be to switch to an alternative like Leafpad or Geany. But then again, I am somewhat biased in the direction of being anti-Gnome, and you didn't ask for my opinion.

But Emacs is in the #! / Debian repository, so why do you have to install geany, gedit, medit?

One thing I have to say in defense of EMACS; when using it as a word processor, it understood when I was swearing 100% of the time!
No suggestion the it was an incomplete "further," or "shirt," no - it was designed with those word as an integral part of it's dictionary.
Mildly brilliant.
