ibus input for Korean in netbook, how? (SOLVED)

Running CB11, works great in my Samsung N150 Notebook.

I like to be able to input Korean fonts on occasion.  I am unclear how this is done on Waldorf.

would appreciate terminal or synaptic suggestions.

Re: ibus input for Korean in netbook, how? (SOLVED)

hi gychang,

sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-hangul im-config ttf-unfonts-core

then run

ibus-daemon

add the hangul input in ibus preferences (right-click on icon), then logout and login. Ibus is a daemon, it will usually start automatically (if not, add 'ibus-daemon &' to openbox's autostart). Maybe you need to run

im-config

once.

Good luck and greetings!
