Anyone else having problems with imgbox uploads?

For the last couple of days all my uploads hang at about 30kb, smaller files upload OK. It also happened a week or two ago, but was OK the following day. I can access the account, move files around, create/delete galleries - just the uploads don't go through.

Is it just me, or has anyone else had a problem?

The only config changes I've made recently are the "speed up iceweasel" ones, but I can't remember if that was before or after the upload probs

I do not use imgbox but did you try it with another hoster to determine if it is not your internet speed itself? Also, you could test your usual upload speed. My ISP sometimes gives me less power than advertised.

No problems uploading to deviantArt and Dropbox

I've now tried uploading the same image to existing or new galleries, or to no gallery. All fail at different points, but very small images are OK.

(Latest test I did just now gave upload speed of 1.6Mb/s, which isn't great but should be fine for a 45kb jpg!)

Time to look for another image host??

It's probably some problem on their end then. Maybe they will get it fixed soon. Otherwise, if you want to share something here that you've already uploaded to dA you can just use the image and thumbnail found there.

Well, compared to my (on paper) 0.5mb/s upload speed, that's blazing fast tongue

I never said I believed the figure! Probable half that is more likely. Anyway - I liked imgbox because it was clean and simple and quick.
