Thinkpad X121 touchpad

this may be a stupid/annoying question so aplogies in advance..

i've googled for this to no avail so thought i'd ask here, ive just installed cb11 on to a thinkpad X121E and it all went smoothly except the pointer is very "shaky" when i try to hover over buttons, also the right click only works with the trackpoint button not the one on the touchpad.

i've put crunchbang onto this laptop in the hopes of learning how to use linux/cli tools etc so any advice that involves using the terminal or just points me in the right direction would be gratefully received. Although I'm not opposed to using a GUI tool to sort this as it's annoying enough to stop me getting on with anything else.

thanks in advance.

Thinkwiki is a tremendous resource for all things Linux on Thinkpads.  My link will take you to the UltraNav page, which should help you sort your problems.

Re: Thinkpad X121 touchpad

I don't know if thinkwiki has the answer to this, I can confirm a t420s has the same problem.

Thanks, I'll have a proper look at this later today and let you know how it goes, even if it doesnt help with this particular problem I'm sure the wiki will be a really useful resource.
