Hello you
Fancy meeting you here! Don't forget, you have to make at least one post, else I delete your account after a week - you've been warned!
Have a great weekend, and we'll see you in a week's time at your LUG (hopefully)
Love Becky & Philip
So this is it, my post to stop myself being kicked off (again)
Urrm I'm Dave, I use #! on my desktop which for some reason, the only distro I can install (at all) is the version based on Ubuntu 09.04.
I do bits and pieces for Hull LUG, and usually take part in our monthly pilgrimage to the hallowed ground of the Olde Crowne for Lincoln LUG.
I wouldn't describe myself as any kind of computer expert, but I hope that what I lack in expertise, I make up for with enthusiasm.
That's it Becky - I've made my post, can I stay now?

...like Awebb, the best I can come up with is a HAL-9000 quote. "Hello Dave!"
while ( ! ( succeed = try() ) );
We've earned a reputation as a nice, friendly community; please help us keep it that way.

Welcome to #! Davey, cool computer you have, never heard of something like it before.
#!, all else is but a shadow!
May the Kernel be with you!

Yes you can stay Dave; you've passed the secret, initiation test to become a member of these forums!
Many other members don't, and you would be surprised at the amount of nil post accounts that I delete after a week.

You manually delete them? There is no auto-prone of some sorts?
I'm so meta, even this acronym
