@ Sector11... Looking forward the the end product.
Well, the end product looks exactly as that last screenshot - only with a different wallpaper, but I change those always.
So now the back 40 is lookin as good as the front 40.
Both with Debian under the the hood, both #!, one "testing" the other "SID"
What else I say.

I can't get my wireless connection to work in the installer, and from what I've read this is a common problem, but the only answer I've been able to find is to use a wired connection. Is there a way to get wireless to work installer? Wireless works fine during net installs of Arch. Let me know if you need anything from me to help solve.

I have a simple question: How do i get Huawei Mobile Broadband 3G to work during text install? It is USB 3G modem. Virtualbox install went fine by the way.
Offline
As far as I know the installer is not - yet - capable of enabling broadband 3G.
I may be wrong though.
bootinfoscript - emacs primer - I ♥ #!

Is there any hardware that can connect USB 3G broadband modem to computer like a regular ethernet DSL cable? Most of my KDE installations also failed because of missing Network Manager. Then I read somewhere that there might be a trick in hardware level to make broadband 3G show up to computer like it's regular DSL. I don't know how it is actually implemented or what hardware device is needed. But I also know that all of my normal Debian installs work because LiveCD automatically uses Network Manager. Crunchbang is also wonderful because it recognizes my Huawei 3G.

Maybe it is just me, but my deb businesscard install keeps failing when trying to install base system (either missing a file or cannot fetch file from the net) and I'm doing it from a usb since I don't have dvd burner. However, the netinstall isos work perfectly for me...
Offline
I had the exact opposite issue, where the netinstal iso would fail but the business card succeeded. I only use usb's for installs also.

Vastone have you had any issues with the businesscard not wanting to install grub?

No falldown, I have not. A total non install? There has been a very recent update to grub (today), perhaps that may improve it...

^ It installs the base system but fails every time when trying to install grub.
I tried using bacon's wiki page http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/howto/r … ith_chroot
I thought that I could use that method, but had no luck.
I am going to try again later today with the direct download businesscard.. maybe the torrent file was corrupt.

I seem to remember grub issues from netinstals as well.
I will try it again on a new partition I have setup using the original businesscard iso I have. I can put that on DB if you want to try it.

What happened when you tried the chroot method? I did a business card install a few days ago and it worked, but I downloaded the iso a while ago.
Maybe I'll try it again today.

Not interfering at all.
That was my mistake on assuming it was your How-To..
You are correct..
Edit
grub-install is missing from my Waldorf.iso.

^Nah, not corrupted. It's a bug, it seems. http://nidget.wordpress.com/2012/04/10/ … an-wheezy/ and I have no idea i this is fixed already. So basically: to fix GRUB, use the 1.98xxxx version or try with the Sid version.

I will use statler or aptosid after I give an older businesscard a whirl.

Thank you gentlemen!!
I used the businesscard that Vastone emailed me.. Thank you sir!!
I'm guessing that the lastest businesscard might have been the issue as far as failing to install grub during the base install.
Lots of customizing and some more apps to install.
Thank you Bacon for pointing out the grub-bug in Wheezy!
