mydesktopcalendar - where is it?

Hi everyone (or moin, as we say, where I live),

anyone here using mydesktopcalendar?
I just installed it and it doesn't show up. I mean, yes, the tray-icon is there - but no calendar on the desktop. It's in the repositories, so I assume, it works with Openbox, does it?

Best regards

Re: mydesktopcalendar - where is it?

Moin (as they say, where you live),

I didn't find mydesktopcalendar in the official debian sid repos. Only as it seems an older ubuntu .deb version tested for 10.04 and 11.04 - see http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/myDesktopCalendar
I have tested it very shortly both in Openbox and XFCE with the same result. I could see the trayicon, but nothing on my desktop... You should probably try asking for help at their forum - http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/mydes … ainlendar/

Already did. Thanks.

By the way: After reading your signature I'm going to try SpiderOak. Thanks for the tip.
