no gstreamer-properties

Hi there,

recently I have been trying to use Pidgin to make audio/video calls from my Gmail account through XMPP, but I couldn't get the configuration plugin to properly set the usb-webcam and mic (integrated into the webcam)...
It should be possible to set everything using gstreamer-properties; I have installed a number of gstreamer-plugins[good,bad,ugly] and gstreamer-tools, however I do not have gstreamer-properties and I cannot find it in the repos either.
Any hint?

gstreamer-properties is in the package gnome-media.

so I have installed gstreamer-properties, which I can use to successfully configure the video, but the audio still doesn't works, in fact gstreamer-properties complains about missing plugins:

it seems that the solution is to install gstreamer0.10-gconf which turns out to be available just for wheezy and it is not even in backports...so I am trying to apt-pin it, but I am having problems with it (see here: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/ … #p220906). I'll get back to this post if and when there is a solution...
