... but Soon-to-be-User!
Hi everybody!
I stumbled across this site while searching for some advice to configure my Lubuntu-system. So I'm not a Crunchbang-user yet, but have been playing around with Openbox and Tint2 for a while, which to me feels much better than LXDE. So I think it's just a small step to Crunchbang. I would consider myself a Linux-noob, but it's much more fun than Windows. So I think I'll stick to it!
Anyway - I hope to find some information here, some help for me as well as somebody I can help. And some fun, of course.
Best regards

Hi. I'm a relative noob also. If you like the openbox DE you will definitely like crunchbang. I played with the buntus for about a week awhile ago, but I am glad I switched to crunchbang.

Allright - burgers for everybody! And thanks for welcoming me, even though I'm not one of your kind yet.
Now then, going to download Crunchbang. If I'm not online again in a few days - just wait longer!

Platte. Der Bulettennachschub dagegen ist endlos.

To me the above, seems to indicate strongly you have all the makings of nix ninja and diehard #!'er. Am still somewhere between newb and middle newb territory myself. Can say so far, more somebody learns, more they feel compelled to learn. If you like tech, problem solving and tweaking software ... it's an endless puzzle. And so you're sure to keep on enjoying it. Well ... except for those occasional times when ya wanna throw your PC up into da ceiling fan.
Errrr ... long babbling way of saying another hiya, welcome to crunch-central Bulettenschmied.

Some common cbiz abbreviations. This will save me time and yet @ same time tell folks what the babble is supposed to mean.

Now mix them all together and make a huge mountain of meat from which we form a woman, and take one of her ribs, and close up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which we have taken from woman, made we a man, and bring him unto the woman.
Yum-yum!
