I´ve just downloader CrunchBang 11 "Waldorf" torrent image, I´ve just tried to install to my acer netbook, but first option in boot menú stuck on video load with an xorg error.
Finally, I boot the system with the live option on the menu.
When I tried to install the system, on the cd screen of installation, it stucks again with a repository fail message. I´m not able to install the system due to this error.
If you want, I can upload depuration files.
I don´t think iso file is corrupted.
I like your distribution, very lightweight and customizable, and pure Debian of course!! I´ve been using it for a while.
Sorry for my english, long time without speak it.

You should check the MD5 sum of your iso file.
You can do this in a terminal by typing
md5sum /path/to/file With the /path/to/file being where your file was downloaded to.
If the output matches this
MD5: bbd74a366468f26fe298288da85443d7 then the file is ok, if not you need to re-download

Hello,
also try this: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/213533/#p213533 for the xorg problem
If your computer is connected to a router, let it be configured using DHCP. This will hopefully fix the repository error.

I downloaded and installed Waldorf i386 version and now I am getting this message:
"grub_divmod64_full"
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue>
I am going to run Boot Repair Disk http://sourceforge.net/projects/boot-repair-cd/
Ok finished with the boot repair. I think it reinstalled Grub and then ran "update-grub". Problem solved. I am curious as to what caused it though but I am a happy camper running my new Crunchbang and loving it. Congrats on a job well done! I really like that you switched to Compton. It is so much faster than Cairo-Compmgr which I gave up using because it made my old machine too slow.

^ here's the same issue i think, xaos provides at least a guess to an explanation, maybe that will answer some of your question as to how this could happen: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/211760/#p211760
