Welcome, the tea is here. Fifteen minutes after your introduction you gave your first tip, so please, stay.
As said many times before, coming here does not mean you should leave other distros. Active archers are a vital part of this community.

Welcome to #!
Just for the sake of asking, was there anything wrong with Arch?

Welcome to #! dondéestáelté! Have a cup of tea or some coffee.
@Roald: Finally you saw the weirdos.
When I saw them the first time as a kid, I wanted to run as fast as I could.

Thank you everyone for a warm welcome.
@merelyjim: I cannot say anything bad about Arch but I can praise it for quite a long while if that's what you want. I am running #! now more for the sake of consistency between my netbook and my wife's laptop. Makes it easier for me to maintain both machines. The Arch system went sour because of some bad blocks on my HD that I was too stupid to diagnose on time. I am trying to fix them now with live Crunchbang pendrive.
@rhowald, ivanovnegro: I am a stranger here myself so the hooded guys scare me too

Yes, to some idiot -- uh, wait, I mean, to me. Thank you! Yes, from some sleepy person at the other end of Eurasia, welcome!

No, I was just curious. It seems the people who can keep it working for longer than ten minutes (not me) love it, and then there's people like me who try it... and promptly move back to something Debian based.
Good to have you here.
